View full detailsEvery Nutcracker party starts with a mysterious guest at the door. Drosselmeyer arrives at the Christmas Eve celebration with presents for the children, and the one that matters most is the nutcracker he gives Clara. This collection brings our Drosselmeyer pieces together in one place: a standing nutcracker, two ornaments and a musical snow globe.
The Drosselmeyer Nutcracker with Cape and Presents is the standing figure of the collection, the mysterious gift giver himself, caped and arriving with presents for the party.
For the tree, the 4 inch Uncle Drosselmeyer Resin Ornament shows him in his black cape and eyepatch, holding a stack of presents and the Nutcracker. The 6 inch Drosselmeyer Pull Puppet Ornament carries the same gifts and nutcracker doll, and a tug on the cord moves his arms and legs. Both have an ornament loop for hanging.
The Musical Party Scene Snow Globe plays Tchaikovsky's "Nutcracker Suite March." Fritz and Clara gather around Drosselmeyer as he presents the gift that changes everything, and faux snow swirls when you give it a shake.
The nutcracker is a mantel, shelf or tabletop piece, and the snow globe sits happily on a side table or bookshelf. The two ornaments are made for the tree, where Drosselmeyer can stand beside Clara and her nutcracker. Together they tell the first scene of the ballet, the party where it all begins.
Drosselmeyer, often called Uncle Drosselmeyer, is a mysterious guest who brings gifts to the Christmas Eve party. In the original story by E.T.A. Hoffmann he is the children's godfather, and his present to Clara is the nutcracker that comes to life.
The 4 inch resin ornament and the 6 inch pull puppet ornament both have a loop for hanging.
Yes. It plays Tchaikovsky's "Nutcracker Suite March."
